Making a new character
ok so ui have this level 20 D/Mo. and i have like 0$ (gold), my builds arnt that great for the hero henchies and the armour is like weak. I want to make a new character, i own every single expansion plus the trillogy (yay mox), but I am wondering which campaign and which character, i was thinking good old prof, but whats your guy's say? (factions = $$$$ (gold) and XP), NF = $$?? (i think)) and prof is balanced of both. i am looking for good story, good quests and good skills. (I want to make a assassin/ranger just to posion my blades....and have my pet) but again, whats your guys say?

Dervishes have a lot of farming builds if money is your concern. Your heroes have access to what skills you have unlocked. The armor is based on their level. I would say start in Nightfall for heroes and good elites, but since you want an Assassin, you will have to start in Factions. An Assassin does not have to go /R to poison and an Assassin with a pet is generally a bad idea unless you're thinking of barrage/pet.

I would base my choice SOLELY on character looks and primary profession.
The campaign you start at doesn't matter in the long run, only on the first 2-3 days, since you can be ran to good leveling/farming spots pretty soon no matter what continent you start on. However, you'll be stuck with your character's look forever, so make sure you choose the best possible for you. Very difficult to advice on a profession, as that's totally personal - if you like a profession enough, you'll eventually have all money you need simply by playing the game. |

choose what you like and you can switch continents fast enough that it wouldnt matter where you start. dervishes already have some nice farming spots.
